Selecting a team to join in Hype Pool is the most important first step towards getting access to the great rewards available to Hype Pool players, and each weekly game features a new set of teams to choose from. These steps will walk you through the process and strategy for selecting a team with game-winning strategy.
Strategy for Team Selection
Selecting and staking your tokens on a team has more strategy than meets the eye; there are a few factors that you should take into account when joining:
How much time is left in the game?
What is the current team rankings?
Will you be playing alone or with other members of the community?
For solo players, the common strategy is to follow the crowd. But well coordinated teams can make surprise plans that bring them back at the end of the game.
It's important to remember that points are earned at 20 points to each $ME3 token staked in the game, but Social Actions grant you 500 points to each action. These actions also provide invite codes for you earn 200 points each while expanding your team, and unlock Mystery Boxes which can give you huge points multipliers to the points you've already earned.
💡We recommend that your team selection process starts during the week before the start of the game, finding a like-minded group of other players from our online communities that you can join with to strategize your actions.
How to Select a Team in the Game
To start, you can press Join Pool either at the top of the page, or by directly selecting the team of your choice in the Team List at the bottom of the dashboard.
If you use the top Join Pool button, then you can press the dropdown to view available teams for you to join.
Press Continue to proceed with your team and continue the staking flow.
