Hype Pool games are dynamic battles that can flip in favor of one team or another in the blink of an eye. Even teams with high amounts of staked $ME3 can be toppled by a well-coordinated team that ensures high utilization of social actions, invite codes, and mystery boxes.

🎯 The ultimate key to victory is planning and coordination! Don't wait until a game has started to make your plan and put it into motion – find or create a community with like-minded players to massively increase your odds of winning.

Making or Joining a Community

Selecting a team has more strategy than meets the eye; there are a few factors that you should take into account when joining:

  • How much time is left in the game?

  • What is the current team rankings?

  • Will you be playing alone or with other members of the community?

  • How coordinated are the other teams?

For solo players, the common strategy is to follow the crowd. But a well-coordinated team can make surprise plans that bring them back at the end of the game when their opponents least expect it. Teams usually create or join communities in Telegram or Discord to coordinate their strategy and plan how to beat the competition.

Remember that each Social Action earns more points than each token, with points earned at 20 points to each $ME3 token staked in the game, but Social Actions earning 500 points for each action. These actions also provide invite codes for you to expand your team, and unlock Mystery Boxes which can give you huge points multipliers to the points you've already earned.

Teams that properly coordinate the use of these actions can easily beat out a team of whales that only stake tokens. Coordinating when to use these actions and who will be receiving your earned invite codes (often across many timezones) is a highly involved strategy that can easily turn the tides of the game.

The only question left is – how coordinated are the other teams? 😏

Social Actions are Core to the Strategy

As you've learned, Social Actions earn more points than each staked token, with points earned at 20 points to each $ME3 token staked in the game, but Social Actions earning 500 points for each action.

But when is the right time to take your social actions? Should you do them all at one time? How do you make sure your earned invite codes go to people who will benefit your team? When should you use your Mystery Boxes?

While each team will ultimately create their own strategy, we recommend that you consider the following:

  • Will our actions reveal our strategy to other teams?

  • Will our actions cause more players to join our team, splitting up our rewards?

The element of surprise comes in handy in Hype Pool, but there's a balance between taking enough actions early on that you can mask your overall strategy, and taking too many actions and causing a landslide of players to join your team.

✉️ Use your Invite Codes as a key strategy

While there will always be random people joining teams, you can greatly control the influx of players into your team with coordination and planning for how to distribute your invite codes. Each invite code grants huge downstream multiplication of points earnings from staking, direct Social Actions, and multipliers from the Mystery Boxes. You will also earn 200 points for every Invite Code that you earn, share, and leads to a completed stake!

🎁 Mystery Boxes are a secret weapon

They can grant huge points multipliers up to 10x, random gifts, and additional $ME3 token rewards. These wildcard gameplay mechanics also provide ONLY buffs to you and your team, so you should consider the use of these later in the game to further conceal your team's strategy.
